The article brings up something I’ve noticed going way back to the Avs game at the beginning of the season. Dean always starts the Coyle line against the opponent’s first line. They try and stick to this throughout the game. I don’t understand this commitment to matchups in the regular season. A playoff series this makes sense to me. They routinely let the opponent dictate the game. So when they say they need to get back to Blue Jackets hockey I’m not entirely sure what they mean. I agree with the analysis of KJ too. He’s been pretty good lately at moving the play when they get the puck to him in the middle of the ice and let him fly through the zones. He just hasn’t finished anything but I notice his effort.
