Grey Zabel Was the HIGHEST Rated Player in Week 18

  1. Ok this actually matters a lot to me, but when he’s rated low by pff, its actually the worst rating system by far and should never be paid attention to.

  2. Zabel’s film from Saturday was astounding. The dude has been a rock all year but he was laying some hits that really stood out on the broadcast

  3. Please don’t give PFF any credit

You can talk about how great Zabel is without pointing at a number that is completely subjective (and often extremely detached from reality. eg, Geno Smith being higher graded than Patrick Mahomes in a game the raiders lost 31-0)

  4. If Zabel is already having this much success as a rookie , wait until next year , going from All Rookie to All Pro .

With Cross extended , this becomes potentially a modern version of Walter Jones and Steve Hutchinson . If those two can get anywhere close to Jones and Hutch , the Seahawks left side will be set for long time

  5. Zabel is good. REAL good. Cross is good. I would argue Sundell is good. Lucas is above average. Bradford is…Bradford.

Need a piece or two to really shore up this line and we could dominate.

  6. who was that guy off the street who came in and played a few snaps at LT? Kight?

In the one play I noticed him in, he came in and pushed his guy backwards. That was cool.

  7. I think this sub has largely overrated Zabel this season (all pro talk ect.) he has been good for a rookie but has had flaws.

I think he deserved this grade he was phenomenal this week.

  8. It’s kinda wild that it appears we have 4/5 of our OL positions locked in after being in a bottom of the barrel situation last year. RG is the only one that we really need to improve on and it appears like AB is taking some steps forward.

Zabel has been so huge for the team to have a functional offense this year.

  9. On those run plays he was routinely 10+ yards down field blocking his second or third assignment.

  10. He had some awesome downfield blocks. So did Bradford. I think it was that first big K9 run he was just sort of giving Bradford a tour of their side of the field.
