Mina Kimes is the perfect woman, just don’t tell my wife
Mina a true queen
She is also a Seahawks fan so I’m sure she didn’t mind not voting for Stafford.
ESPN needs to show us how many TD’s Stafford threw from the 1yd line this season – it was 13
I wanted every MVP vote revealed one at a time like Survivor

Mina Kimes went from Brady/Pats hater to a Drake Maye voter, officially one of US
I love Vrabel but I also agree with her pick of Macdonald for COY because of the division and he runs the defense
1 down, 49 to go.
Our Queen
Maye was the most valuable to his team. But, most voters don’t gravitate in that direction.
I trust voters like Mina that actually do their homework and know what they’re talking about. But then I go on YouTube and see another MVP voter that wasn’t even aware of Mayes or Staffords stats (just hours before the vote was due… on a live show). He takes a look at Pass TDs and then proclaims Stafford is ‘running away with it’ from a stats perspective… and references EPA in Stafford’s favor… which is completely wrong. Dude just assumed things based on TD pass numbers. I think that’s going to be the majority of voters unfortunately. At least we have Mina tho, she rocks.
I think Vrabel or Ben Johnson are better COTY votes than MacDonald but it’s not a wild take.
I think it’s going to come down to the new age, data analysts vs the old guard counting statheads. Maye should get the votes of the former, not sure he will get the latter.
Yeah I think the analytics crowd like Barnwell, Kimes and adjacent folks will clearly see his case. Mina has always been strong in advanced metrics and talks about EPA and DVOA all the time.
I think this year is a really interesting case study in advanced metrics vs traditional stats and how they are affecting MVP races.
This seems reasonable (Maye MVP/MacDonald COY). Seattle ran a tough division and secured the #1 in the West. Vrabel had the better turnaround but I guess that’s one spot I can knock off points for playing a last place schedule. Also the Bills were hot and cold this year while the Jets and Fins were ass.
I’m sure Mac Jones could put up big numbers with that Rams team.
mina saw through the stat padding 15 1 yard tds.
Mina’s awesome. She’s been a Drake backer for quite some time.
It sucks but you can feel the tide. They’re giving this to Stafford. For? Reasons. Touchdowns. Lifetime achievement. Bullshit.
I’d love for Drake to get it but I also think back on all those times Manning got the individual accolades and Brady was known for his postseason excellence. And how little the MVP’s seemed to mean.
Always loved Mina.
Yall need to take a deep breathe… Maye is winning MVP
Can we get a MVP tracker going.
I think this is going to be closer than people think.
Mike Florio also voted for Maye and Vrabel COY
Mina watches film and knows ball. There are other analysts and experts i know watch like Kollman, Steve Smith and cohost James Palmer watch a ton of film. Smitty had been nothing but complimentary of McDaniels as a coach and Maye as a player. Kurt Warner, JT O’Sullivan, etc. I know they watch a ton of film. It’s the real former player addicts that cannot leave the game that know good ball.
I might be in the minority overall (not in this sub) but I don’t think anyone with even a year head start should be COTY over Vrabel, Johnson or Cohen. To come in to an organization and immediately change the culture and go from 4-5 wins and no playoffs to double digit win division winners is more impressive than #1 seeds in year two of a coaching stint imo.
