1. Tbh I think half of Raymonds struggles have been a lack luster center. Sorry I said it. Captain has not been playing hard out of the gates and setting the tone. Yes he is putting team on his back in (some) games, but it is in the 2nd half. See more diving than driving from larkin so far. Hard take/hot take, but he whined last year they didnt get a spark and absolutely the guy who should be providing it!

2. Larkin sucks right now, hate to say it but if he cant engage physically and stop diving looking for penalties they need to trade him. He cant be a no show for as long as he has been, and if its an injury, it doesnt matter because that means hes injured again around the same time of the year and has become a liability for this team. Hes not skating ou there literally as soon as he gets the puck hes looking for someone else to give the puck to, thats not larkin at his best. Im not even sure what larkin at his best looks like anymore.

3. A curling bonspeil would have been more interesting to watch.Lethargic and emotionless game.

4. If yer 2nd line is now your 1st line, and Andrew Copp is centering..
   the rest of the lineup can only be 3-4 liners, the Wings are now the Seattle Kraken trying to spread the depth.

5. I'm of similar mind with team Sweden. Simon has to many episodes of being the lumbering oaf.

6. Chemistry rears it's ugly head yet again. We are 3 players from contention not including between the pipes.

7. Like it or not, the wings were bullied. Zero forcheck. Zero urgency as a team. We are pretenders.

8. Dumping the puck to the glass creates uncertainty which creates time.

11. It wouldn’t bother me if none of the Wings played in the Olympics – too much opportunity for injury & they’ll come back tired from for the playoff run. I would rather have playoff games than Olympic games. My selfish opinion. #LGRW

12. I see Rasmussen back to his old self of not checking not scoring and being 3 steps behind. Rasmussen needs to sit out for a few games.

    I watch Rasmussen play and it makes me want to change the channel.

14. How are the Redwings not excited about their position in the standings and have the confidence to bring a decent performance ? It was the kind of ugly performance that undermines hopes in them becoming a playoff team this year

15. Brock Nelson was trash in the 4 nations, terrible roster move.

16. Being realistic… its impossible to win nearly every game, unless your this years Avs. But the Pens smothered the Wings this game, but it's not the end of the season just yet. As long as thus isn't the beginning of a downward spiral… I still have faith.

18. Reversion to the mean is a real thing. This team is much improved over last year, but others have improved at least as much. I am concerned that the Olympic games could take a real toll on Larkin, Raymond and Seider. Think on what happens if we lose even one of these guys. And two of them are already showing real signs of physical deterioration in my mind.

21. I’d rather figure it out now than later. I’m glad Todd is willing to mix it up and try something new. Maybe this will queue a Tip line Winger trade, but that’s just me. LGRW

    hat this team needs is a roster full of Seiders with his toughness and mentality. This team needs players who can be physical on both sides, offense and defense. If they play the same way against Ottowa, they'll get their asses kicked. Ray L

24. I don't care if no wings are in thge Olmpyics. Last year they couldn't recover after the Olympics. I know I'm being selfish but I'd rather see them prepare for the rest of the NHL season. Ray L

25. I didn't see "lifeless", I saw the Penguins dominate them defensively. And it was hard to watch 😭

26. Raymond has never proven he's effective without Larkin. Larkin shouldn't have to babysit his winger

27. OMG Scotty says that The City the Jets play in doesn’t have an International AirPort Wut?! Then he further disses the team by not naming the player or team at the center of Tkachuck controversy? Which was a Jet btw.

28. The Wings can't continue being this way and making excuses losing games like this to a rival like the Pens. There's no excuse for playing the way the Wings did, regardless of their 1st place standing….
