Taylor Decker retirement:
“But at some point, I have to make a decision for other people, too. You know, it’s not only going to be about me because again, if it was only about me, I would play until I couldn’t anymore. So it’ll be a couple months. I got a lot of people to talk to. I got a lot of MRIs to get … Because if I do come back, I know what I’m signing up for as far as putting my body through it again. I know there’s potential for, you know, catastrophic injury and things like that, but then if I’m done, then it’s over.”
Dan Skiper talks retirement:
“Finding a way to just stick around and stick in and finding a home and (having) guys that appreciate you, a place to take you in. It’s a special place,” Skipper said of his career, reflecting on his time in Detroit. “It’ll always hold a place in our heart. We had a kid born here. My boys know the damn fight song.”

Losing to Minnesota the way we did, I have 0 faith in Goff. Agianst the Bears he did better but his spiral has been horrible.
Turns out the draft spot isn’t much different if we lost Sunday. Proud of the team 3 years in a row with a winning season.

Does Ben Johnson deserve Coach of the year? Even though Lions seems to have the Bears #. Best offensive lineman or someone else at edge to help out Hutch on the other side. After that make sure our Defensive backfield is deep. We just wasn't the same without Branch and Kirby.
Holmes blatantly seeks out and recruits black ballers who have non-black spouses or love interests. He does not want to elevate black families by recruiting talented ballers ( who bring with them queens and children on that journey to affluence) from the community. I just learned this and no longer respect or highly regard this male. I join the voices wanting Holmes to be replaced before the start of 2026 season. So hurt, embarrassed and disappointed in this black self-hating male who is a poor example for younger people to follow.
I wish Mr. Decker well.🙏🏾 It is good to know real men are part of The Lions organization and know when it is time to walk away and pursue other avenues that benefit self and family.
Just praying we don't get a bs early week 4 or 5 bye week. Need a week 9 or 11 type of bye week.
Based on that schedule I give the Lions 11-13 wins, along with the NFC West we have the toughest Divisions in the whole NFL. We could fall to 10 wins but I at least expect to split all division games why I say 12 maybe 13 wins.
