AL EAST REPORT: Blue Jays Going All-In While Yankees Do Nothing!? w/Ken Rosenthal

The Yankees offseason is starting to feel way too familiar — waiting, posturing, and hoping something falls into their lap.

While the Blue Jays are building a monster roster and the AL East arms race heats up, the Yankees are once again sitting on their hands. Ken Rosenthal’s latest AL East breakdown raises serious questions about Cashman’s strategy, the Cody Bellinger situation, possible trade talks with Miami, and whether the Yankees are already falling behind before pitchers and catchers even report.

Is this patience… or paralysis?

We break down:
• Yankees rumored trade talks with the Marlins
• Why Cashman’s “wait it out” approach keeps burning them
• The AL East hierarchy heading into 2026
• The Cody Bellinger dilemma
• Why pitching depth STILL scares the hell out of me
• And why Aaron Judge’s window is closing fast

⏰ 41 DAYS UNTIL PITCHERS AND CATCHERS
The excuses are running out.

  1. Nerds (including this bow tie dork) are clueless about sports and have no organic connection whatsoever to reality… they have an extraordinary ability to communicate & they get their rocks off by superheroes… but superheroes are fictional so they leech on to pro athletes… the Yankees are LOADED with these know-nothings… hence the drought.

  2. Even if they overpay for Bellinger they still basically have the same Swiss cheese lineup they had this past season. Hitters that can't field; fielders that can't hit; guys playing out of position. Yet that seems to be Cashman's strategy for the off-season. Pitching for them has been a mess for years. They'd be better off obtaining a bunch of junk ball pitchers that don't blow out their elbows.

  3. Only fans, and jazz made me laugh. Still seems so far away, until you count down pitchers and catchers day. Biggest moves for the blue jays are still to come, better get their ass in gear
