Is she high or drunk? This was the worst press conference I’ve ever seen.

  1. Seemed like someone that was extremely nervous to me. Didn’t seem intoxicated at all.

  2. An announcement that she is pissed basically. Also all the questions being asked were very confusing apparently because she kept asking for clarification like she was Solid Snake

  3. I think she was just a deer in the headlights. Her and her sisters haven’t even been owners for a year yet so there’s a lot of growing pains compared to Jim who was the owner for nearly 30 years before he died

  4. Maybe it was nerves, but it’s hard not to think she’s in way over her head after this one

  5. For a person who is constantly taking notes she dosent seem to know what the fuck is going on.

  6. If you have seen her in any other interview, you would know she is pretty awful at them lol

  7. They removed the presser

Edit: They removed it from YouTube earlier. They might have added it back.

  8. If you notice, they almost always have the other sister talk and make announcements in the locker room and with some media, maybe there is a reason.

  9. Imagine listening to Jim for years and thinking Carlie doesn’t know what she’s doing. Lol

  10. This was we are made to eternally suffer as colts fans.
This was them taking a fat dump on us.

  11. My fear is that Chris Ballard is the actual owner of the team atm, he is taking the shots, he is making the moves, he is whispering in Carlies’ ear. Jim was too old and sick to make a move on Ballard and Carlie is too inexperienced to do it. This is giving me bad vibes.

  12. If “the sense of urgency has never been higher”, then some level of change would be made. Empty words.

  13. So, i was giving her the benefit of the doubt, but even as an outside fan idk wtf this was.

  14. Yikes man, this sub is a dumpster right now, I get were pissed off, but Carley is brand new and we might want to hold judgement for a little while. It’s not like Jim was a master orator.

I do think there’s something about the PR team though, she just needs to have the confidence to say what she wants, it did feel like she was holding back, but out of her depth, ridiculous.

  15. Gotta look at all Chris has accomplished in his time here and trust that he can replicate *checks notes* the first half of this season

  16. A lot of fans built up this projected dommy-mommy badass character based entirely on their fantasies and some mirrorshades, and now they are now sad to hear a living, breathing woman talk for longer than ten seconds.

    That’s half of this response.

The other half is the unpopular decision itself and you could not get Ric Flair to deliver a house promo that would sell fans on keeping Ballard. So those fans are directing that energy at her “performance”.

Carlie said something huge in this presser that everyone missed. She said she’s lucky to have her sisters to help make the right decisions, that Jim never had that. This decision wasn’t made by a clueless person lost in the woods, it was deliberated by a brain trust. SHE’S not calling the shots, THEY are. That’s interesting to learn.

It’s clear they believe the first ten games were more true than the last seven. She said they believe Ballard changed how he worked this year, and will continue that. She thinks the roster got better.

She also said about three different subtle ways that their job is on the hit seat this season. That’s what “the urgency has never been higher” means, clearly.

  17. “The stakes are high this year, I promise it will be different. “ – said the last 10 seasons

  18. From 7-1 to 1-8…it’s an embarrassment. She said “I’m
Pissed”…ok so? What did you do all year standing in the sidelines listening to play calls and game plans. Did she hear everything that she thought was ok? Because they were tons of bad calls and game plans. Another year wasted.
