His contract makes him really hard to trade and we have a barren bench due to injuries. He unfortunately has to play some minutes to fill the rotations. Think of him as our tank commander and don’t worry too much about it.

It was the doubling down and re-signing him that I can’t stomach. He barely had a market, then all of a sudden, he’s getting 100 mil. He’d done nothing at that point to suggest he’d live up to it.

At this point he’s functionally just a warm body so we can have 5 players on the court.

This front office drafted him instead of Halliburton, Maxey, Bane, etc. Then they SET THE MARKET FOR HIM and gave him 90 million dollars.
Mikey’s response to this was to give them all extensions.
