OG just disappears for long stretches every season but the second he has a great game, his meat riders cone out in droves like he is always great.
They’re not moving the ball and they’re slow on defense, when they move the ball (pass) and play defense with their feet, they will win.
They always cut into leads when you hear the sneakers squeaking.
But you need to be quick on your feet to play good defense, and if you’re not quick, then you’re supposed to force your man to his bad hand, but I guess nobody is teaching them how to play defense.
You don’t even have to be quick to play good defense, they’re just not playing…something is not right.

This team clearly needs a proper system to play on. The random lineups Mike was trying might have worked against lower seed teams but it wasn’t sustainable. The guys forgot how to play for long stretches in between games, it’s like they completely forget how to create a good offense and I don’t even wanna get started on protecting the basket.
Blow this team up! We need to rebuild.
This cheered me up a little bit. I know it doesn’t matter for us right now but at least we lost to the first place eastern team
They get no shots because they can’t create their own on a consistent basis like KAT or JB. But KAT also can’t stop turning the ball over by committing offensive fouls. Plus, no Josh Hart = no ball movement and no threat when spreading the floor. The offense needs rest and Josh Hart with KAT and Mitch alternating time as Center. They shouldn’t be on the court together. The spacing doesn’t work.
Until Hart comes back, I honestly would start Clarkson over everyone. He’ll go create his own shot to take pressure off JB and while he’s not exactly John Stockton, he will pass the ball when need be. The offense would flow better. Then you let Deuce and Kolek come in as small scrappy guys that can go get you threes with Mitch and Diawara or Huk manning the glass and just alternating between OG and Mikal playing with them.
This isn’t THAT hard but Mike Brown has his braindead moments
We are paying almost 100 M between the first two players for a collective 11 pts.

Realized how much we missed Hart’s creation tonight. We only have one real guy who can make things happen off the bounce consistently and against any defense. In todays league i really feel you need a second one who can make something happen. We couldnt even touch the paint without offensive fouling someone to get there.
Prior to the NBA cup OG was playing the best basketball he’s ever played in his career. Hitting 3s consistently, playing great defense, hustling. Since he’s been absolutely terrible. He looks so gassed every game.
Brunson was 8-12 at one point… then 10-21
I’ve been saying forever now we will never win a chip with KAT… He gives up way too many points in the paint, pick n roll and from 3. He gives up more than he ever scores. He’s low IQ on the defensive end. And he disappears against more physical teams. That being said… OG and Bridges can’t create for themselves and can’t drive to the basket. We are absolutely screwed even though the casuals won’t admit it. KAT, OG and Bridges all should have been expendable this whole time. We could have got Giannis in the off-season but the front office for some reason didn’t wanna part with any of them. We’ll be a 2nd round exit or semi finals exit this year. Mark my words and come back to this.
Mike Brown doesn’t know how to coach an offense. It’s pitiful. On top of that, he also doesn’t know how to coach a defense.
This one ain’t a Brunson issue(at least not fully). The whole offense has stagnated, and og, Kat, and mikal have been extremely disappointing. When they are aggressive at all it turns out in turnovers or bad shots, and when they r passive there is no off ball movement or ball movement.
IMO it starts w Kat being a top 15 offensive player, and rn he’s not even playing like a top 50 one
do they even hace time to practice with this schedule
The fact the our PG had 0 assists is very alarming. And our best player in the team only took 4 shots.
