  6. You are a fucking moron if you think Boston should be doing anything other than trading players for more picks and prospects. There is ZERO chance Boston is competing for the Cup. So why the actual fuck would you trade away future assets for a player that just doesn't get you there. I don't care if you're talking about Connor McDavid. Him plus the Bruins current roster still doesn't equal CUP. I'm so sick of listening to people bloviate about things that not only do they not improve the team in any substantial way but hurt their chances of competing for a Cup in the future.
    Boston should be looking to acquire 7-8 1st round picks over the next 3 years. Once you weed out the failures hopefully you have 3-4 guys that become your future core. Then you build from there towards contention. All of the pure idiocy I see you talking about does only one thing. Prolong the mediocrity and push off any real chance Boston has of competing for a Cup in the next decade.

  7. the only move that will help the Bruins is getting rid of Sweeney. He's the one who traded for these players, so he must have thought they'd be good. Sweeney is just a disaster by now. I'm surprised he hasn't dumped Sturm yet
