2. There’s only one reason to keep him as your head coach and it’s not because it’s not fair to him to fire him after a year. The only reason to keep him as the head coach is you’re not gonna be able to draft the quarterback you want in this draft so you need to set up for a top three pick next year.

4. You have to find out if Dante Moore is coming out and if that’s somebody you really like. If he’s coming out and you like him, you fire Aaron Glenn yesterday. If the Jets are not taking a quarterback at two, because Dante Moore is not coming out then keep Glen. He will guarantee a top five pick not to mention you’re not gonna be able to get any coach worth anything without a quarterback of the present or future. With that said next year, if you end up with the top two pick and you have a pretty good draft this year nowStefanski or Kingsbury or whoever will be very interested.

14. Steelers fan here. I have seen the group think: most are following Joe's nonsense. The Jets pulled down everything to the studs: it is a complete rebuild, practice squad players are getting reps. XFL-level players can't compete in this league. The proper evaluation of Glenn begins next year when the rebuild gets underway.

16. Saleh's defense year 1 in NY gave up just as many points as this year's D. Not that it excuses how bad they are but this same thing happened in 2021 and the D allowed 8 fewer ppg in year 2. Glenns D should improve next year but I don't trust he can fix the offense in any scenario or develop a new QB. Never say never but things look bleak.

    Also, you act like the Field Goal comment was the only thing he brings up on getting better at… You typically go right over the penalty comment and then when you do hit on it, you shit on them for only being 23rd when that's a pretty big improvement from dead last last year. You also ever stop and think, maybe.. just MAYBE its a player issue with the penalties?
    Not saying i have faith in Glenn at this point, but its too damn early to be calling for his head. I cant wait for the flip flopping here if he does turn it around.

    IMO, Glenn should be let go. I do not think he has the acumen to lead a functional team.
