Shoutout to that one “NFL insider” (intern) who was spamming the sub with Shedeur posts all offseason and blocking anyone who didn’t buy into the bs hype

QBR is such a bad way to evaluate QBs tbh. Sanders wasn’t great but he didn’t have much help. Hype to see what he can do year 2
We had many “fans” posting on here about taking Sanders first. Where did they go?
Shough is currently better than Shedeur by miles, but I don’t think this number is indicative of how Shedeur will develop or who will ultimately have a better career. There’s too many variables to consider. Shedeur had zero starting reps and has a much worse coaching staff and organization around him.
To be fair, “everyone” in this case just includes mediocre television personalities that haven’t been relevant in years.
I probably missed this whole debacle before the draft, cause a lot of the discourse I remember is some fans finding way too many opportunities to shit on Sanders unprompted.
Having not seen the pre draft arguments, it just seemed weird as hell. Especially now that it seems clear he was sabotaged by a coach who didn’t even want him. This whole discourse just feels like its between a small group of overly eager Sanders fans and a small of group of Sanders haters duking it out.
I was downvoted quite a bit for telling people that Shadeur runs backwards, and Shough looked the best of any rookie during preseason.
It’s so clear that reddit and social media are just a hive mind of uninformed people regurgitating marketing information and the opinions of know-nothing influencers.
You mean this sub?
Where’s that dude I argued with every day about that??????
Wait right here. I’ll be back.
Let’s be honest the guy is on the Browns.
Browns don’t have the greatest track of good teams.
Let Shadeur do his thing.
We got our own ish to worry about.
Why are we even comparing QB’s??? We have our QB of the future nobody worrying about that instead of clowns who wanna be right that we drafted Shough….
I got blasted prior to the draft for saying that Shedeur didn’t have what it takes to be an NFL quarterback and that he would likely throw more interceptions than touchdowns. There is a huge hype train that has kept him relevant for longer than he deserves. And it will likely continue next season.
He was also pretty much dead last even behind Dillon Gabriel in EPA/play and PFF grades. Only guy I saw being worse was Brady Cook on the Jets but you could argue he shouldn’t have qualified
What a legendary performance
I feel like half the people are currently in this sub eating crow
Hot take, but I dont think any rookie QB would’ve fared any better in Cleveland.
Their program is dysfunctional, to put it mildly.
Let’s also not forget to shit on the Saints for letting Aaron Glenn go to the Jets and having to ‘settle’ for Kellen Moore because he was apparently the only guy left.

If only we could’ve been the Jets or the Browns.
