People forget Willie was playing with Matthews, 40 goal rookie season I thought he was always better off with nylander than marner…Willie was always a better winger…marner could have brought the leafs a number 1 D man after his entry level deal easily, but shanahan just didn’t have the vision.

  20. Morgan Riley needs to go. This guy does not know how to play position in cover his man how many times are we gonna lose because of this guy management shouldn’t feel sorry for him because he’s a great guy to them time to hit the road 23 years ago. What is he still doing?

Leafs should have sold the farm when they had all these guys on entry level contracts…… brown, hymen, marner, nylander, and matthews making league minimum, thats when they shoulda pushed for a few big names, but whatever they did watching them over the last 7-8 years is so much easier than the years before that
