  1. Worst retention of the offseason. We all know about Nine Lives Ballard, but Steichen deserves heat too.

Steichen finished 4-6 in his last 10 games of 2024 and was 2-8 in his last 10 of 2025. I never knew that such a coach with no playoff wins was so magical! I'd hate to break it to you, but head coaches who win and go to the playoffs in Year 1 but follow it with losing/non-winning seasons in Years 2 & 3 lose in Year 4.

Nagy, Daboll, Sparano, and others fit the mold. Even Doug Marrone was similar in Jacksonville.

Colts fans are screwed! Also, great work with "Sauce!" You dumped a gold rush for a player worth a value of Soy Sauce!

  2. Keeping Steichen and Ballard means they're content with mediocrity. As a fan of the team I'm tired of being not bad enough to draft early but not good enough to make the playoffs. Its the worst place to be in as a franchise.

  3. Another perspective (that I haven't heard anyone discussing)… when CIG signed off on the Gardner for 2 firsts trade, she was basically committing to let Chris finish his contract next year. What GM is going to want to come work for a team with no firsts? Its not just about firing someone you don't like; its also can you replace them with someone better. Better is probably not available or not interested.

  4. How do he eff do you bring in someone who hasn’t played for 5 years ? Don’t you have a back up who has been training hard and knows the offense and the team ?

  5. Stechien sucks! Good with Qb's but bad at coaching. Her interview was horrible. Saying she's pissed, like the Colts didn't break records this season. And that was in a bad way. Sounds like a person all about the money, and not about the fans

  6. She literally was on the field every game and not up in a box for face value . She heard every call say every injury and she should know better then any other GM what her team needs right now .

  7. Absolute insanity, Ballard has proven he's incapable of choosing/fixing the QB problem. He needed to be fired when he drafted Richardson. I love the colts but management had ruined everything peyton Manning built

  8. For irsay herself and her sisters, too much change in one year is probably more than they want to bite off rn. She learned a lot this year and next year she will look around and learn how to hire her next team. They made a huge mistake with the sauce pick up for 2 . But it’s done now so how do they dig out? She appears to be a good listener. Thats more than we can say about a lot of these owners.
