  2. at the end of the day his straight line drives are shambolic and hie 3 ball isn’t falling this year, so wtf can KAT even do against teams like Detroit//OKC//Houston etc with big physical athletic defenses

  3. I’ve been pretty lenient with him but this woe is me cry baby whiny shit is enough. You are a 7 footer who can’t rebound. Your three ball looks like shit. You make dumb ass fouls and bitch every time someone sneezes in your direction. Your defense is ass and your effort varies game to game.

    And you’re gonna sit there and moan about a coach and his fucking system? What’s a coach’s system have to do with any of the above?

    Edit: yes I realize the man has good rebounding stats this season. I’m saying right now, his effort and bball IQ has dropped terribly, and he’s rebounding like shit for lack of effort it seems.

    Did KAT just turn into Bum mode? Is he tired? Some dudes just lose interest in Ball after awhile.

  14. My biggest issue with KAT is that he could raise his floor a lot just by doing some things that seem fundamental, and if a non star player didn’t do, they would be lucky to make it out of the G league.

    * Hands up/out on defense. He literally does not even do that most of the time.
    * Impose his will. He will literally pass out of a smaller defender matched up on him, even if he’s close to the post, because he likes working from the top of the circle. Real question: How many 25ppg players get a mismatched defender on them and think to pass it out instead of cooking them until the coach has to adjust?
    * Speaking of the top of the circle? It’s either a 28 ft three, or that one drive he has. He forgets how gifted a passer he can be, and just tunnel vision drives to the basket. It’s super predictable. Consider mixing it up.
    * Oh, and on that drive? He gets fouled, but he also hooks, and it’s obvious. How often does he pick up a cheap foul with that hook move? 11th season, and he still acts like it’s a recent rule change or something.
    * How bout screens? He sets half-assed screens and picks up cheap fouls with those, too. Either do that soft screen without fouling, or set a hard screen that might work even if it might draw a foul. But we get nothing from those screens.
    * I get his whistle is not great, but he also gets away with some really dumb shit at times. Just this last game or two, I saw him literally shove a player on a screen and on a rebound, right in front of the ref. That it wasn’t called was either a blind ref or the ref trying to make up for a missed call. But you can’t just do that because you feel slighted by the refs.

    Again, I don’t think these are crazy asks. Keep your hands up, don’t pick up cheap fouls, go at the mismatches you get.

    Is that a lot to ask
