11. Steven Ross will do as he always does. He’ll sit on his hands until all viable coaches are hired by other teams.
    I’m not opposed to keeping McDaniel and Tua next season. We have to pay Tua anyway. And with the very rough schedule the Fins are facing next season, we should have a very high first round draft pick. Dump McDaniel and Tua then, and let our new GM hire a coach and draft a quarterback.

16. There is 0 attraction about Miami for Harbaugh and early reports already saying he covets the NY job. Wasted breath talking about this, we can’t even fire our current coach. Ross doesn’t have what it takes to get this done.

19. I think the much bigger problem with the team is the roster and what Grier did. I'm WAY more interested with what they do at GM, because that'll have a bigger impact on the future of the team than the coaching decision. They have some pieces, but there are a lot of huge holes in the roster that will keep this team from being competitive regardless of who the coach is. It wasn't all Tua's fault, even if he didn't do anything to make up for the deficiencies.

    That said, I feel guys like Harbaugh and Tomlin are old school coaches, which is good and bad. Harbaugh would add discipline to the team, but it also comes with a heavy dose of predictability, which is exactly why the Steelers and Ravens fans wanted to get rid of them. I doubt things would be any better with Harbaugh than McDaniel, and personally I'd like to see McDaniel have 1 season without Tua dragging him down. If he doesn't improve with Ewers, fire him. If he improves, then it's clear the custom offense for Tua and his limitations was the problem. Again though, the GM situation is WAY more impactful on the 2026 team than either McDaniel or Harbaugh.
