I think I owe an apology for my perceived lack of patience with some folks yesterday. I posted a cryptic message griping about Reddit and a couple of folks responded in a curt and seemingly annoyed manner. And since tone and empathy are hard to detect when reading words on a screen, I got perhaps a little defensive over the perceived lack of consideration. I got a friend flying in from Denver for Fedorov Night and I want to show him city beforehand. Where is a good spot to park where I can park car at around 2 to 3:00 and leave there until game ends? I’m fine with paying rather than making the walk from MGM.
Yesterday I was rewatching Mo singlehandedly defending the empty net across the majority of the ice and it was insane. He just shut the dude down with no hope of a shot by putting on a defensive clinic. The game as a whole was terrible, but that sequence was a thing of beauty.
The amount of butthurt youtube commenters on the Ozzy and Keats episode with Gretchen Whitmer is very funny.

I struggle to find a world where Reaves is relevant at all. It’s just odd that he is in today’s NHL. He plays maybe 3 shifts per period and fights other tough guys. That’s it. That really has no bearing on the game anymore. And I’m 51 so I know how hockey was then when tough-guys could make a difference.
Kane is different though. He’s tough and can play. Plus he’s a bonehead so you never know what he is going to do out there. The minus is that he is a bonehead. But we seriously lack any sort of toughness on this team and are constantly taken advantage of. A guy who can play 15 mins a night and be somewhat effective at it would go a LONG way. A bonehead guy who can play 15 mins and not give a shit if he crunches Makar or Celebrini is even better. Keeps their heads up and keeps them a little more honest.
He’s a tool, but I’d welcome Evander Kane.
(I’d also give him number 86 so he looks like Patrick Kane out there to throw everyone for a loop)
Reports say Redwings are one of the few teams that want Sherwood and have asked about him…..i don’t know what it cost but I do think he’d be a good add. Id be willing to trade a 2nd and throw in Buium so the Canucks already get both of the brothers.
