Well, I guess he can’t always criticize us and suggest trades of our best players to the Yankees anymore if he doesn’t want to bite the hand that feeds him, which is a plus.
Still not taking anything he says seriously though. I’m still salty about his suggestion in the past that the Mets could trade Harvey to the Yanks, and later offered Thor to the Yanks.

Apparently Jonathan Baron left the Mets during the offseason to join the Rangers (per his twitter bio), so does that mean Meet at the Apple will be Vito and Andy?

Andy Martino sucks. I have never met a single person who likes this guy. he also seems like such an insufferable and unpleasant person.
I have no idea what this job description is or what he’s even going to *do* but if he is on my TV frequently, I won’t be watching nearly as much.

The Wilpon-to-Cohen transition has really benefited this guy. Guy gives me “Littlefinger” from Game Of Thrones vibes. Chaos is a ladder indeed.
It’s become painfully obvious the last few years that Martino is cozy with someone high up in Mets ownership. This is just confirmation.
Martino prays for the Yankees to win every year. This guy just wants to bank on if the Mets don’t do well.
