Everyone wants to point out the Seattle game as why the 49ers are bad, but they neglect to talk about the last game we watched the Eagles play, they had 0 passing yards the entire 2nd half against the Bills, and should have lost if Josh Allen didn’t overthrow the 2 point conversion.
And keep in mind, Bills defense isn’t good, Pro Football Reference has them as very average at -0.4, whereas the 49ers are 2.3 for defensive rating.
I am not sure why the Eagles are getting so much respect, they won a really bad division and are facing a team with a better record from the best division in the league.

This season has been one weird, fun, annoying ride but I think the clock strikes midnight on Sunday. There’s just only so much you can do with a defense that somehow got even thinner in the last week. I’m of course rooting for my guy G. Gordon’s prediction, but I’d wager on the Eagles winning and it not being particularly close. Simply making the playoffs is a tremendous accomplishment for this team.
Well if half our players believe we can win also maybe it will at least be a good fight.
