JK is likely gone at the deadline, but I truly hope our fanbase doesn’t remember him as a bad teammate or person.
Whether or not he succeeds, I hope warriors fans do nothing but wish him well when he leaves.
On social media, JK responded to a fan saying he should be Charlie kirked, so players see the nasty comments online. Don’t be the guy making that instagram comment, because that is not a warriors fan.
Basketball aside he’s proving the American dream is still alive. Moved from the DR Congo at 13, and is the father of two. Completely self made. As an American it’s hard for me to pray on his downfall.
If our basketball relationship is over, let’s treat him like a human being.
Draymond on Kuminga as a teammate

Nobody will ever make me hate Kuminga
I heard a bay area news reporter say like there was a 60% chance JK is gone on the 15th of January alone, 40% chance he isn’t gone on the 15th (I think the actual date they mentioned was 20th). If (when) he is gone, have nothing but respect for him, seemed like a good father and good man. Sucks him and Kerr never got along. Obviously, he isn’t an all-star or anything and dosent have trajectory to be an all-NBA caliber player, but maybe if he goes elsewhere he would flourish better and develop like Ryan Rollins.
By all accounts (players, coaches, beat writers) he’s a good dude. Just not a great fit unfortunately. Hope he pops off wherever he goes to next
Let’s send you out too.
Only people on this sub and social media make up narratives about JKs attitude and him being a cancer, bad person etc. his teammates have always vouched for his character. He just unfortunately isn’t a fit for what Kerr likes to do.
JK is not a bad person nor a bad teammate. His skillset didn’t match, and he was thrust into one of the most scrunitized and unforgiving environments in the NBA after the Lakers, all due to ownership and front office incompetency.
Gotta love “AIR PODZ” complaining about being benched when he’s got the 3rd highest MPG on the team
This is a bit of a naive take…Dray is smart, he also knows that saying this improves JKs trade value. I’m sure JK is a great guy but to pretend he hasn’t moped isn’t true.
Regardless of where JK goes most likely hopefully he becomes an all star and I will be rooting for him just like rooting for Poole, Wiggins, and other notable former Warrior players
JK is a great dude. I think the vets like Draymond and Jimmy do like him and I think that speaks to his character as a person. He probably will be moving on from us soon, but I wish him nothing but the best in his NBA journey.
If JK stays then Kerr gets canned.. that’s my prediction
I just think he needs a coach that will stick with him. When he believes the coach will stick with him he’s a very good player. He is a good defender (with some obvious limitations), he’s aggressively runs the floor, he shares the ball, he is a good rebounder. That is what we’ve seen when he believes his coach is going to stick with him. Maybe this is all subliminal for him—I don’t know. But when he slipped up a little after playing the best basketball of his career early this season and saw his minutes pulled back—after that he was never the same. I doubt he was trying less. I just think it gets in the back of his mind—maybe something he can’t even control or is conscious of. But it comes out in his game and it’s really clear. Honestly, it would be an interesting experiment if Kerr just said to him—Jonathan, we are going to go with you. We see we need you and we are going to stick with you no matter what—and just see what happens. Maybe it’s too late for that. But a confident Jonathan Kuminga is exactly the kind of player the Warriors need on the floor as much as possible.
Love kuminga wish he worked for the warriors
JK gonna go off for 30 against the warriors next season
Someone really said that about Kuminga? Charlie Kirk’d? That’s so absurd and completely out of touch.
Zero awareness from Podz lol. Whining about playing time right to a guy who hasnt played in 10 games.
Whatever happens with JK, I’m just glad he’s an NBA Champion. Regardless of what happens from here, he has that on his resume forever.
pump up that trade valueee
That’s all well and good but did he really have back soreness during that OKC game where he was supposedly going to get a good chunk of minutes?
I’m calling it now, Brandin Podziemski otherwise known as BP, otherwise known as…
“The Gas Pedal”
Respect that a lot about Kuminga
Our fanbase has engaged in some disgusting discourse over the last few years. People have gotten way too comfortable engaging in cyber bullying/shit talking with no limits. The way the fanbase treated and talked about Klay (IMO) was a contributor to his departure. Now all you see are comments hoping he retires here. Wish we’d see some more respect in our critique of our players and the game across the board but there’s a lot of nastiness and it pmo
Can’t wait till Jan 15.
The turnover/rest/ejection king trying to get rid of JK and pretending he’s actually being nice, all while making his other teammate look bad
He must be great for team morale and a wonderful friend
Increasing that trade value I see
I honestly just wish he could work out on this team, he’s so talented and such a good guy. the best case scenario to me has always been that we unlock him as a warrior. i realize that it’s probably too late now but i wouldn’t even be mad if we announced we’re keeping him.
If only he could play like he played the first 6 games of the season.
I hope this is true but with our fanbase who knows but… the disappointment with JK is because we do know he’s good and can offer so much to the team yet for whatever reason – could be coaching, etc whatever – it just hasn’t worked out. Honest Dubs fans will say the only reason JK’s stint here is disappointing is because we actually did believe in him and hoped he could help. It sucks that a guy who did actually win a chip with our dynasty is likely moving on.
JK has been a very good teammate throughout all of this (off the court I mean). Hasn’t started any drama about not being played. Everyone assumes Kerr hates JK and vice versa but with no evidence other than playing time. Doesn’t seem to have bled off the court at all despite people wanting to make it so. JK’s only real known faults are him not fitting into the most unique system in basketball, and his choice of agent.
I want him to be traded because it’s best for both him and the team. he needs to go somewhere and average 20+ on a shitty team and we need that shitty team’s role player who would bring actual value here
Bumzinski complaining to JK of all people about playing time is peak lack of self awareness. White Ohtani strikes again.
Blame the front office. He belongs on an iso team. His trade value has only gone down.
I still don’t understand why JK isn’t utilized to allow him to get better. It’s been years now. If he had been playing as much as Podz, who knows how good he could’ve been by now. The Warriors need an athletic presence to go along w Curry and Butler.
Sell it Dray Dray…sell it 😎
I’m scratching head wondering what is it about JK where his fans are so touchy feely parasocial projecting narratives when it is just basketball and never about anything else.
We would have won more games with him if he played . The man just was never used right nor did they tap into his full potential
Not every player can perform when under pressure . Knowing one bad decision and your back on the bench . He needs consistent min for a couple years to be who we all hoped him to be .
