My fav era
That was a great year. We expected so little, and got almost everything.
I’m sad we didn’t win it all so that specific team could go down in history. Between OMG and Grimace, that was such a fun second half of the season.
It’s still in my playlist. Kills me a little every time
It was definitely the peak to that cores era.
“Era” it was 4 months
Sorry. Mets management has now forbidden any mention of OMG, or you’ll be traded away for nothing.
Only Mets memories from 2016 and earlier are now allowed.
Which has won us a whopping ZERO titles. You people need to let this shit go already
He was man that kept the clubhouse together and that led to success for the Mets, not bringing him back was a mistake and if the reports are to be believed the clubhouse fell apart.
No doubt… good post… the importance of those good utility players that brought energy to the team… Iglesias and Bader were definitely those good vibes high energy types. It’s those intangibles that are not expressed in the stats sheets that sometimes make a difference.
This run was so much fun, after years of disappointment and that numb 2022 which had 100> Ws but felt like 85
The textbook definition of a Cinderella run. I remember exactly where I was and who I was with watching Candelita’s concert on the diamond and I knew in that moment that something was afoot. 🥲
