4. yeah I don't know why tf you guys interviewed Jason Garrett. Hell fucking no. I will tell you as a Giants fan, you don't want that guy as even OC. Daniel Jones showed some promise in his rookie year. Completely went downhill after hiring Garrett in 2020. He didn't even finish the 2021 season. I'm not saying Daniel Jones' failure in NY was 100% solely on Jason Garrett, but without a doubt we believe it played a part. You do NOT want him on your coaching staff if you ask me. And I don't really want Matt Nagy as OC tbh, though I guess you could do worse? Not really a high bar you're setting though. Like if you're going to hire Shula, I think you should let him pick who he wants on his staff. Not try to force staff picks on him. That's something that my Giants have been known to do (they did it with Garrett for instance) and it hasn't really worked out well.

   I don't know why the Titans job would not be more highly regarded. Maybe it's not as great as the Giants job but I'd say it's better than other jobs out there. I'd give the edge over the Browns job mainly because of the QB, I'd say it's better than the Cardinals job. Atlanta maybe not quite. Obviously not better than Baltimore. What other jobs are even out there? Ah, the Raiders. I know they have the #1 pick but I'd put the Titans job over them. I think that's all the openings. I'm REALLY hoping Chris Shula is the guy, based on the information in this podcast. That was a guy I was definitely high on and would've probably wanted for the Giants job before Stefanski and definitely Harbaugh were on the market. Also have heard some speculation that maybe the Packers could fire LeFleur if they lose this weekend? That would be GREAT news. Also have heard speculation about McDermott in Buffalo if they were to lose this weekend. I'm less high on him but I guess he could be ok. So I guess there's our rooting interests for the weekend lol.

   Also I am very sorry to hear about your dog. It's a special bond we have with our pets. By far the worst part about owning a pet is having to inevitably put them down. A lot of us have been there; I've been there too. For myself, it was essentially getting to grow up alongside of my dogs. We got them when they were about 10 weeks old and I was 7, almost 8, and we had them for about 15 and a half years. I don't mean to talk about myself, just that I understand a little bit what that's like. You can kind of see the writing on the wall, you can see them begin to decline and slow down in some ways, but it doesn't make it any easier. A dog gives you unconditional loyalty man, that's hard to come by. Just wanted to offer my condolences and empathy. I am glad that you and your dog got to have great experiences together. I think a lot of listeners understand your situation. Take whatever time you need, we'll be here when you get back

18. And Tyler the grief over a beloved pet is very real as well, the same as losing a parent, a child or best friend. Have someone you can talk to and is willing to listen at any time of the day and as long as it takes whether your grief lasts a week or a year. My dog has been gone almost a year and I still have moments where I feel the need to say something and express myself. My dog had aggressive cancer and I had to let him go. If your dog is concious and coherant, ask the clinic if you could have alone time with him or her and let him have as much chocolate as he or she wants or anything you know they'd love but would normally be forbidden. Take care, and you're in my prayers.
