Jeremy Fowler ESPN with a Jim Schwartz rumor:
Schwartz is under contract for 2026, so Cleveland has the ability to block coordinator suitors. He can leave for a head coaching job, of course. But Cleveland is in position to keep the core of a fourth-ranked defense in place with Schwartz, who will likely interview for Cleveland’s head job, too.

  1. They won’t hire a good coach. There’s a couple out there, but they won’t do it. They’ll hire the worst. I guarantee you that they hire a black coach and there’s no good black coaches available

  2. There’s a reason no one else is looking at them because they’re not good coaches. Why would we try to hire somebody from Cincinnati? Did we not just watch their offense?

  3. Andrew berries and screw this up like he screwed up everything I know it. We need to hire a coach that does not want Andrew Barry as gentle manager anymore, and we need to force him to out.

  4. Get Harbaugh and let him get his own OC! Get rid of Reese, an extension of KS and not to be trusted around Shedeur. New blood please! New HC, new OC, new O Line, anew Trusted WR’s ad well

  5. Are you kidding me!!!, that’s the list???, OMG Here we go again
Where’s Harbaugh?………and the one who should be first, Klint Kubiak, go watch some of his interviews, leader of men!

  6. I'm a Browns fan from Baltimore. When I tell you that Harbaugh is all smoke and mirrors, believe me. Ravens fans and segments of the local media here in Baltimore are rejoicing now that Harbaugh is gone. Lamar jackson carried him since he's been the starter. Harbaugh isn't an Xs and Os guy so he's also not good at making in game adjustments. Any coach that would bench his HOF running back in the second half of games while simultaneously losing big leads is a moron.. He's also not good at time management, player development, and player interactions. Buyer beware when it comes to Harbaugh. As for Todd Munkin, without Lamar Jackson running for his life and playing back yard football that offense is trash. Like I said Lamar has a way of making them look good.

  7. Can we stop going for these unknown guys for head coach that don’t have head coach experience. Go get a winner someone who’s not afraid harbaugh schwartz or gruden should be the only guys we consider. I would also have Rees and Flores as other options but your top three should be serious head coach candidates not guys whose name I’ve never heard before.

  8. Until the De Shawn Watson debacle is over, no top tier coaches are coming to Cleveland. The best the browns will do is a coordinator with no head coaching experience. Hopefully they get lucky the way the Jaguars did with Cohen.
