Man losing Caissie really sucks. This explains them checking in with Bellinger again though
Omg the guy gets hurt all the time like Steele and Horton
Injuries are inevitable and he will be out after 2 start ….. I will bet 100000$$$
I hope they didn't trade Caissie instead of Shaw! I wanted Shaw traded in a Package 📦 for a pitcher and get another third baseman.
The guy had a 3.50+ era in his solid year. Clearly he is not an ace. Plus was injured. If they gave up Cassie for this guy then that’s a terrible move
So it’s not done then
Questioning this trade because Cabrera hasn't pitched more than 100 innings a year in his career. That happened last year
we also got Ryan Rolison from the Rockies
I don't like the trade but who am I
Owen will go in this trade which is totally stupid… I predict it will be one of the two options below.
1. Cassie, Alcantara, Long, & Trintanos
2. Cassie, Alcantara, Trintanos, Wicks/Brown
I don’t understand the Matt Shaw hate…. He had a 3.1 WAR… Bergman’s rookie year was 1.7… Bregman had a 3.8 this season so where’s the upgrade when comparing salaries to production….
Hi Mick. Now with trading for Cabrera, let’s hope the team signs a bat or bench piece. One can hope.
I can hear you Mick.
Smh Cassie is gone.
Maybe resign Bellinger or Tucker. Maybe Bregman. Let’s see what happens now with this not costing the Cubs much.
I do not think that is a good trade and they may give up their best pitcher in the minors sounds like lue Brock trade to me
Marathon Watching 1/7/26 Big News! Caissie gone though. 😢
That was stupid to give up Caissie for a injury prone pitcher who has only pitcher 100+ innings once and who had a 3.50 era last year.
they traded Caissie for Cabrera
Let's Go Cubbies!
I hope they dont trade Nico
He's got a career ERA over 4. League average WHIP. Only has thrown 100 innings once. We're excited about this?
Let’s hope they sign either Bregman or Tucker. Sucks to not give Cassie a chance
Unfortunately i can here your terrible takes. Just terrible.
Trading Caisie was stupid and will bite us in the ass.
My prediction is we miss on Tucker, Bollinger, and Bregman. You can't win if you dont score runs.
This is going to backfire when he tears his UCL middle of next year.
A lot to give up for a player with one good year, previous shoulder issues, and a partial UCL tear last year.
OK, I seen what the Cubs did here you treat a pitching prospect you trade match Shaw but you don’t trade away Owen I feel like I was just punched in the gut on this one. I did not expect Owen to be the one to go. We came out of a short end of a stick on this one.
We traded Owen??? so much for a right field now defensively he was the one guy I thought the Cubs would not trade in this deal. I didn’t see that coming. I’m really questioning this one here and I think I’m not the only one so who’s gonna be our future right fielder you know next year we could be looking for a left fielder in or right fielder and a second baseman I don’t think you really can justify getting him for Owen with his injury issues I was excited this morning and now I’m like oh crap oh crap oh crap well the last thing became the first thing Owen‘s gone just wondering how do you feel about that? I’m thinking the fish got the better deal on this in this thing and the Cubs came out on a short end.
Who is playing right?
Alright! If this dude stays healthy we should have the best pitching behind the LAD. I've said it forever but we have to trade Nico for a real good outfielder. Big downgrade if Suzuki is the RFer. I'm feeling good. Pitching!
Bye Owen caisse. Stupid fuking deal.🤢
But even with Cabrera and either Bregman or Tucker, can they beat the Dodgers? Also, why isn't Kris Bryant slated for the Reunion? And…PAD THE WALL! Please.
