  1. Nothing like a shit kicking the night after the biggest win of the season to balance out morale

  2. my absolute fever dream for this season is for this team to get (and stay) like 80% healthy, sneak up to the 5-6 seed, and give some team absolute hell for a first round playoff series.

that feels like such a huge ask

  3. Was getting ready to say “Look on the bright side, at least Orlando lost and they’re alternating wins and losses, maybe that second pick will look decent”

Then Paolo had a prayer get answered. Woe is Memphis

  4. This was just a shit performance. Plain and simple, we just sucked ass tonight. I missed the first half, and I’m almost glad that I did, but it looked like we couldn’t find our asses with both hands. This was tough and draining after last night’s emotional win. I wonder if the crash from that, along with the season grinding down our MASH unit roster out there, could explain tonight? We usually at least play up to good competition. Oh well, fuck it and forget it! Let’s put it out of our head, get ready to go against OKC and Brooklyn this weekend, and hopefully we get some guys back. Keep the faith! Sometimes you get speed bagged; both in basketball and in life. Just gotta get back up and keep going.

  5. Most can be chalked up to being very injured and on a back-to-back.

Some of the effort, attention to detail and decision making was concerning though.

Also, seeing their ability to hit difficult threes off of movement made some of our shortcomings very apparent.

  6. So what’s up with this bruise? Is it a mean MFer or just a “I really don’t feel like playing boss” bruise?
