Breathe a sigh of relief

  1. hawks literally gave him away for expiring CJ and Corey Kispert lmaooo

some of ya’ll really thought we should have given them Randle for a dude with that little value

  2. Makes sense for both sides.

Hawks get out of money sooner and Washington buys low and can sell some merchandise.

Man, the Hawks trading the Luka pick looks even worse lol.

  3. That’s why you don’t wait until it’s too late to trade players. What a disgusting return for their franchise player.

  4. If we had an expensive expiring contract we could’ve gotten him. Def not worth to give up anybody that would worked for salary matching. I want us to grab Coby White and a backup big and keep our team mostly the same

  5. That’s about what Trae is worth….

    Bad defense.

    Bad contract.

    🤷‍♀️

  6. Well now it’s pretty obvious who the Wolves are targeting at the trade deadline.

  7. Hopefully this lets NAW keep moving up. I’ve loved watching him shine in Atlanta.

  8. Should have offered Dilly and a future pick. If he was willing to come off the bench was exactly what we needed

  9. Who will win an NBA championship first? NAW or Edwards? Atlanta looks really good on paper right now and is probably getting a top 4 pick in July.

  10. Great deal for the wizards. Just got an elite level playmaker for all of their young guys. The Trae Sarr duo is going to be insane and it lets Bub not have to run point because he gets a lot of TOs.

  11. Really shows how little small guards carry now. Makes the Rob pick more surprising in retrospect. Connelly is usually ahead of the curve, so him jumping for that prototype looks even worse in hindsight

  12. Bet he spoke to the wolves about declining his player option and signing here as a free agent this off-season 🎺💫

  13. I don’t understand why the hawks even did this it’s not like Cj defends either

  14. I only wish this could have turned into a 4 team deal with the Wolves finding a missing piece.

  15. We don’t need a pg who is a volume shooter and primary creator. We have Ant to do that. I really hope the twolves office looks at cheap, defensive passing guys over big names, as other teams’ bench PGs could be our starting PG, as they would have a secondary role and just have to bring the ball up, pass to Ant, hit open threes, and defend, rather than create their own shot and lead the team. We should be looking at guys closer to Tyler Kolek than to Trae Young.

  16. Might be the wrong sub to ask but do you guys think this will get some more wizards fan in the arena? I know the kind of player Trae is but I hope their fanbase has something to look forward to now for the rest of this season into next
