Nobody wanted to wish the 34-year old former MVP winner a happy birthday.

  1. If they should be mad at anyone then it is the front office. They offered him that money and his back troubles were an issue at the time.

  2. Be mad at our dumbass, bumbling former GM and the lunkhead owner who greenlit the signing.

  3. People mad at someone turning down life changing money from a billionaires pockets? Look at my proletariate dawg

  4. Modern sports journalism in a nutshell. Can’t even spell his name right. Anyone mad at KB for taking our dumbass owner’s money can suck an egg.

  5. I’m not a KB fan. I’m a lifelong Cardinal fan (and a Rox fan since I moved here 10 yrs ago to chase a grand daughter). All that said, KB is a competitor and I’m sure, if healthy, was sniffing HoF status. I feel sorry for him and for our fans – but this is 100% stupidity on the Rox front office. His back issues were known when they signed him and they were desperate to fill the Arenado/DJ/Story void they created. Happy Birthday, KB!

  6. if they offered me that money I would take it, can’t blame him. Hell if they offered me 50K to be a bullpen catcher I would do it i a heartbeat. I hope the current GM works out some arrangement to get him off the team and do deferred payments so he isn’t a huge year to year hit

  7. I’m from STL and I got a baseball signed from Kris when I visited Coors last year. Definitely never forget that experience. Really seems like a great, genuine guy who would’ve played some great baseball for us if it wasn’t for injury. It’s sad people get mad at him for signing a contract for a shitload of money like it’s his fault his back is fucked up

  8. Mad at those who didn’t notice how far off Bryant had suddenly fallen in recent years, before offering such a ludicrous, head-scratching deal.

$ that could’ve went to other major contributors, if done correctly. Not his fault his body is rebelling against him in his 30’s. Never got the impression he wasn’t trying, unlike Rendon.

  9. him and Jose Reyes and Iain Desmond are true symbols of Rockies’ inept patterns. Please relocate to Tulsa…
