I’m shocked some of this fanbase so focused on Luka turnovers but don’t mention how many good looks he creates. Luka probably would be leading the league in assists if he had better shooters.

  3. Nobody on the Lakers can make a three consistently outisde of Luka, Reaves, LBJ and Rui. This game 3 of those 4 were not playing, there is a reason the Lakers have the worst bench in the league

  5. Luka throws his whole body into passes to. He uses so much energy for them to clank and do stupid turnovers

  6. Yea this is just sad. This is almost every game. I don’t understand how we are so bad on WIDE OPEN shots. Also we have the most inconsistent players in the world. Nsj and Jake would look like they are starting to build something and then just completely disappear the next game. I truly don’t understand this team

  7. He should be averaging about 15-16 assists a game. And that’s with them missing some shots. It kills me to see him pass to someone and they are wide open and miss it. Last night Jakes miss was bad and Luka looked annoyed

  13. The difference with the Mavs is they hit those shots. People constantly shit on Luka here but Luka has no choice but volume shoot. Hes passing dimes off to wide open shooters and they are bricking them. At some point hes taking over because nobody else is stepping up. These guys have no excuses to not hit wide open 3s where you have 5 seconds to think about it.

  14. They are perfect tbh. Players around him need to adjust. Spend time on practicing 3s. Jeez what a painful sight to see all opponents on him and players left open clanking the shots

  16. In fairness, some of those “Wide Open” threes weren’t that wide open. But some of those “Wide Open” threes were WIDE FUCKING OPEN!

  19. There was a transition, and only Luka and another player advanced to half court. Luka passed the ball, seemingly expecting someone to be behind him.

  26. Our inability to make open looks is impressive. This has been an issue for a decade. Forget defense, find some shooters and we will win. We don’t have defense or shooters and that’s not going to work.

  27. We have pretty much zero assets to trade for a decent role player anyway, and we need more than 1 decent role player. Our only hope is free agency at this point because who seriously wants Dalton fucking knecht on their team. It’s like trying to trade someone your negative credit card debt in exchange for their bitcoin.

  28. Most those looks aren’t wide open but yeah he’s amazing as an offensive creator. Just needs the team to fit him more. Once Bron retires LA will get some better complimentary players around him.

  35. Another frustrating thing about some of these is that you don’t even have to shoot the 3 if you don’t feel confident. A lot of the time, the person receiving Luka’s passes has enough space to dribble in and take an easier shot or even drive to the rim for a layup.
