Dream Scenario!
TITANUP!
Mike McDaniel has to be our top candidate, right?
Titans fan from the UK here guys. Love the show. The only Titans podcast I consume! Keep up the good work 👍🏼
The watcher collective name should be “The Audiblers” with as much as you guys have to switch things up when news breaks
For the sake of the algorithm, I’m going to to simply comment “IF WE HIRE ROBERT SALEH, I WILL LITERALLY TATTOO MIKE BORGONZI’S FACE ON TO MY OWN FACE” before I even watch the pod. Then I’m going to comment again. Can’t wait to see tomorrow’s live stream/attractive coach openings. #TitanUp
The Saleh McDaniels combo is back on the menu!
Great content as always. Titan up!
Mike McDaniels is my top priority right now. I'd bring him in ASAP and pay that man his money. And I'd sign him as the HC. Don't do a 1 yr rental then have him leave for a HC job elsewhere if he does well.
Everything you fellas talked about in regards to A Smith was his offensive prowess. Nothing about his ability to be a HC. Was he a commanding presence in the locker room? Did Atlanta have a clear team identity? How was his overall management of the team? How was his in game management? Sorry, I don’t see leader of men with Smith. As always, I could be wrong.
As a fantasy football player I will NEVER forgive Arthur Smith's actions in Atlanta. He is officially on my never, ever list.
Robert failed with the jets really they had a ton of talent there no thank you
I love Zach but the comment about the jets reminds me of when announcers or people will bring up stats that do not apply to the current teams and try and project it on to them. Not an exact example since I can't think of one off the top of my head but like, this team hates playing in the cold, last time they played in the cold was 20 years ago.
I’m sorry but Art would be a depressing and completely uninspiring pick for HC. No, god pls no.
The year our offensive was great had way more to do with Henry and AJ being in their primes than his offensive prowess imo. And he’s not the culture setter they want
Nobody talking about hafley. There is way worse.
The Titans have 2 seasons in which they were top 10 offenses since 2003. Arthur Smith was OC both times. They were 27th the year before he took over and 15th the year after he left. He's the only offensive coach the Titans have had who put points on the board. I'll die on the hill that he's a great coach who was hamstrung by Desmond Ridder. With whom Arthur Smith won 7 games, Ridder couldn't even make a roster elsewhere.
I think McDaniel shoots to the top of my listr of head coachign candidartes bc he is the best of all worlds, relatable, young, smart, innovative, and retread (with a winning record), and his name is Mike!!!!
For what it’s worth I think Ryan tannehill is the best qb smith has coached including this version or a-rod. Give me saleh and McDaniel!
How much does it mean that the other coaches on the team haven’t been fired yet?
I love how every fan tries to throw together this super coaching combo like it’s going to happen 😂
Titans are going to keep requesting key interviews right after you guys record lol
Great episode as always, but god, please no Arthur Smith…. Dude was carried by a prime Henry & AJ Brown. He went to Atlanta, was bad with decent talent & players reportedly did not like him. Quarterback situation wasn’t amazing, but who chose the quarterbacks??
He goes to Pittsburgh with an all time great head coach and one of the most experienced, best QBs of all time and their offense is bad. What is his redeeming qualities besides piggybacking off of the prime of one of the greatest running backs of all time? I’m so out on Art, I’d honestly take anybody else (except maybe Jason Garett🤣). I’m praying it’s just the org giving him a boost to get his name in the news.
