I just heard on the Rates and Barrels podcast that uncertainty regarding this money is a reason why at least one team on this list has been cautious on spending so far (the GM was anonymous).
Well this sucks
If the angels 2026 season can’t be seen does the sadness still take hold?
I wouldn’t mind them ending up on Victory+ with the Ducks (although it would never happen)
We’re not getting anything close to what the last deal was. 10 years ago networks were overpaying for everything. Whole different landscape now and our owner is already a cheap asshole so he won’t have as good of a network deal to offset any losses.
Will Wayne still call games on our next network?
Well….silver lining is there’s probably a reason since all 9 teams did it, and im glad it wasnt Moreno doing something just to spite the fans

The fact that a betting company was allowed to broadcast games is disgusting. Betting is ruining this sport.
Absolutely just need to sell directly through MLB. Every team should do this, the sports rights bubble is actively deflating

If the contract is terminated, does that mean the local broadcast area blackouts are over for the Angels too (unless the renegotiate to put them back in)? Please just let me subscribe to mlb.tv and never have to worry about restrictions again.
Just put them back on upn.
It would be nice if my cable company just removed the temptation permanently.
