  1. his first time playing for a non toxic fanbase, just had to get a couple wins under his belt for confidence

  2. Talk to us Oilers fans after the next 10.

If he’s figured it out, great, but I wouldn’t have high expectations once teams in the East figure him out like the teams out West had.

Edit : Christ you Pens fans are salty. I’m just pointing out that Skinner is trash. I’m not attacking you. I’d kill for Murashev or Silovs in Edmonton.

Since we traded Skinner we’ve won 14 of 18, even without Jarry for 15 of them. We’re just happy Skinner is gone without having to pay a team to take him.

  3. I always kind of felt like he was at worst a pretty lateral move from Jarry. When he’s hot, he looks great. And there will be times when he doesn’t. But he’s healthy and balling out right now, so that makes him an upgrade. Plus Kulak has found a nice home in the lineup balancing out Letang.

  4. Oilers fan here, im so glad skinner is doing well, idk whats going on with that one dude in the comments baby-raging about it

  5. The stu skinner experience.
Good thing he’s not our long term answer at goaltender.

  6. Where are the folks who said starting him is intentionally trying to lose ? Yeah, I’ll trust the guy that has made two SCFs

  7. I love this guy. I know the track record but he is so incredibly easy to root for. Oilers fans been saying that for a long time…he just seems like a good dude

  8. …And the Stu’s in the cradle and the silver Stu, little boy Stu and the man in the Stu…

  9. When Stu is hot he is absolutely elite. When he’s off though he’s a bad AHL goalie. His big problem in Edmonton was maintaining his too quality gameplay and that’s what made him so frustrating. You can see the toolset he has but he just couldnt be consistent
