  1. I will never forget this night. This was when Vingan was live tweeting the games, and was like 10 seconds ahead of the TV feed. He tweeted “PEKKA RINNE GOAL” and I thought “What the fuck does he mean? There’s no way.” And it happened.

  3. That was my first preds game. Pekka has been my favorite player since I was a kid so i just about shit myself when that happened

  11. I didn’t become a fan of the Press until like 2017. Hockey was never something my family paid attention to. I’m glad I got to see 2 games with him as a goalie. Only Hockey jersey I own.

  13. I was in the building that night. Probably the best sports moment I’ve seen in person. All night, Hawks fans were ribbing me for wearing my Preds jersey. But after this, they were all so nice, just talking about how awesome it was. Incredible experience, 10/10.

  15. I still remember a game 10+ years ago (before this one) where it was a similar situation and Pekka just slung one down the ice. Our seats were lower bowl behind the net and I saw Josi skate up and say something to him. Pekka looked at him and just gave him a “I don’t know, why not?” shrug. I love that man.
