Out for a skate on his own at Greenwood Park.

Damn. That’s my local odr. I’m there a couple times a week during the day. Shame I didn’t make it out there today. Woulda been nice to share clappers with Matthers.
I wonder if Sundin gave him some good advice of being a Captain for the Maple Leafs. He may be a good person in real life, but he needs to display it publicly if he wants to inspire the fans.

Oh damn, I live about five minutes north of there! Aww man, I would have **definitely** went down to see him had I known.
Still, that’s incredibly cool of him. Now *this* is captain material!

Either the Leafs are playing a game in Halifax on Saturday or BlogTO doesn’t know the name of the of the arena in Toronto.
I notice he has a PSHS twig, wonder if Bauer won’t let him use them outside of NHL events, or if the Leafs don’t allow it.
Or… plot twist, he uses PSHS like Ovechkin, but they’re dressed as Bauer. 🤔
So happy he’s got his mojo back
Apparently he is a regular visitor to sick kids hospital as well. No media. Just goes on his own time.
