  1. Love it. He’s been mediocre the past two seasons but still throws hard and has good stuff. He’s a STL guy, too.

  2. lol he sucks and most he gets you at deadline is some rule 5 guy a teams wants to shed

  3. Stanek sounds like a type of bird.

Long neck, condescending face, small feet. Not a redbird, but still a bird bro

edit: V.J Stanek wrote a book titled “Introducing Birds” in 1963

  4. Don’t follow every day, but have we addressed any of the needs at 1B, 3B, or all 3 OF positions?

  5. Soring training will actually have pitchers competing for spots. Can’t believe we didn’t really know Libby would be a starter til late spring training last year. Like this approach way better. Stack arms and see who performs

  6. Love the sheer volume of moves they are making. And they are going high risk, high reward. Finally.

  7. Ok I think this is a decent move for how we will be next year I’m down for it. Also I’m little biased because his wife was a contestant on my favorite show lol

  8. Curious who comes off the 40 man roster to enable the signing…guessing it’d be Raquet, Roycroft, Pozo, or Prieto.

  9. Hey, finally got a former Razorback on the Cardinals! I believe he’s the first one since Pagnozzi. WPS!!!

  10. He has a high ceiling due to plus velo on all his pitches. The biggest thing is not walking someone every appearance. His four seamer is also a bit dead zoned and gets hit hard so he should throw his other pitches way more, especially the splitter which is very good
