  18. I was reading through the 2016 Alumni and was thinking that’s a great list, then I saw him.

  20. I love everything about Sammy being all “I want to be welcomed back to do the Cubs Conventions again!!” he does all of ONE and then is like “nah, im good” and peace’s out. Its like when Slash did FanExpo Canada a few years back, he met like 12 people and was like “im done with this” and bailed. I still love both btw, I just find this amusing when people big shot conventions.

    Also, I know it wont be the Riley Martin I would most want to meet, but still seeing that name associated with the Cubs will always make me laugh imagining the coming of Tan Riley Martin to be the one showing up and being like “uhhh, now look here man!! Im doing my signing at this convention and Ricketts cant pay me a decent living to even take a bus!!”

  27. I know they weren’t stars, but Chris Coghlan and Albert Almora were a couple of my favorites. Both seem like good people. I felt so bad for Almora with the foul ball incident 

  28. I’m glad Joe Maddon is on there. I hope he appears at Wrigley as well. The way it ended for him as manager here just didn’t feel right.
