  1. If Donnie dugout helps this deal happen, he's already been worth it. If they move Stott to third, his days in Philly are numbered. His value is not at third base.

  2. I don’t buy it they could always trade away other players to gain salary relief and get both. Look at the Hamels trade to the rangers. We got extra prospects for taking Harrison salary. He never pitched for us.

  3. Phillies outfield is a mess and starting pitching is no longer the team strength. Catching? But again. Another move hurting the defense.

  4. Aside from Bichette’s bat, I fail to see how this improves the Phillies chances for a long playoff run overall. Way too many holes to fill at the moment to achieve the balance needed just to win the NL East let alone a wildcard spot

  5. I don't get the Bo over JT argument. Bo isn't a catcher. Sign Bo. Great. Still need a catcher and you were never pursuing JT for his bat anyway. JT is clearly betting on the Phillies caving because his value on the open market is obviously less than his value to the Phillies specifically just because they don't seem to have another option. Otherwise when pitchers and catchers report in 5 weeks, for the Phillies it will just be pitchers reporting. I just hope that losing Strahm as a salary dump comes with some great signing soon because that so far has been the Phillies biggest blunder with their roster

  6. Unbelievable. This YouTube channel has been uploading absolutely hot GARBAGE quality videos for years. Left channel audio only, 360p video, cropped iPad screen recording.

Can this HUGE media company please actually give a ****?

  7. Bo can play second, with Stott moving to short and Trea to left field. Then keep Bohm to pair with Bichette (and Garcia) for at least one year as a potent trio of right-handed bats. Move Marsh if we must to free up salary and give Marchan a shot to be the regular catcher. Rojas sticks as the fourth outfielder.

  8. If they want for 1 year. Bohm goes to 1st. Harper to OF even though Turner should go to OF but id be worried sbout TT in OF how often he messes up his hamstrings

  9. Listen I want Bo Bichette more than I want JT. Bo Bichette puts us in immediate position to dethrone the dodgers. But don’t give me any bullshit the Phillies have the money to sign both of them but Middleton is to cheap

  10. F it–get Bichette and JT and trade Bohm out. You wanna play big league ball with the never ending spending dodgers, you have to do everything you can–if not, have fun watching the Commissioners Trophy in Chavez Ravine forever until the league inevitably locks out

  11. Given the Phillies strategy of adding ground ball pitchers to the roster, Bichette (metrically horrible defensively) would be a counterproductive addition to our infield. He doesn't make sense unless he can learn an outfield position (and DH is already occupied). He made $16.5M and projects to double that wherever he signs. IMO, he doesn't add enough value to warrant sinking deeper into the team's payroll luxury tax.

  12. I think it’s unlikely but I’d like bichette at 2nd. Trade stott and or Bohm for a catching prospect and a reliever. Sosa can play every day at 3b. He hit 11 bombs in 240 PA w stellar D and would start on many teams

  13. I have heard Ray's want JT, they can't outbid the phillies. If Bo signs and they trade boom. I heard on mlb phillies offered 2 for 25 so 12.5 and boom is asking 10. It's only a 2 million dollar difference.

  14. Funny part is Bohm was there best hitter against the Dodgers .. 333 ba,, 545 obs and only 1 strikeout in 18 at bats against that great Dodger pitching staff . The Phils outscored the Dodgers but the bullpen let them down ….
