NO WAY: The Miami Marlins SHOULD NOT Trade Edward Cabrera To The Yankees
The Miami Marlins and New York Yankees have been in talks about Edward Cabrera, but it would be a bad idea for the Fish to send Cabrera packing for the Bronx. Jeremiah Geiger delivers an breakdown of Cabrera’s value, the risks of dealing a rising ace under team control, and why the Yankees’ farm system isn’t enough to tempt Miami’s front office. The Marlins have a couple new minor league bullpen additions in Kade Bragg and Jack Ralston.

Reports says the supposed trade would be for all prospects… man I wish they’d at least do it for some good major league bats…no more prospects!
Bro youll see me alot
Best of luck to the marlins long term, but i bet that thy wont make postseason $100 profits $25
No more prospects please! How about trades that will bring back ESTABLISHED PLAYERS! So tired of reading all these “no names” coming to the Marlins. Seriously, how many pan out? 😡
I rather them talk to the Giants…much better prospects like Bryce Eldridge..Jhonny Level…Dakota Jordan…just to name a few…Josuar Gonzalez perhaps…major league controllable youngsters like Luis Matos & Hayden Birdsong…
Barring regression, the team appears postured to do better than last season. mostly because of improved health. However, the glaring issues have not addressed this offseason. Team needs a power bat and more bullpen help. Wouldn’t you trade Cabrera for a 20 HR 70 RBI bat?
Teams view the Marlins as a help now outlet but we are ready to compete now. “This isn’t a Lazardo type deal”.
Wouldn’t mind Cassie from the Cubs though.
If we keep luzardo instead of cal quantril we probably make the playoff last year. I do think the Yankees have the prospects to make a trade as well as the giants but it would be all minor leaguers.
@jeremiah Geiger I think Mark Vientos would be a good get for Fish if the Mets decide to trade
If we trade Cabrera to the Yankees we need for sure jones.. if no jones there should be no trade in my opinion
All it takes though is one injury to Cabrera and we are back to the roller coaster ride for the last 5 years. If its a good deal gotta do it – Agreed Yankees aren't the best trade partner.
Looks like they agreed to a deal with Chicago.
