[WHL] Miroslav Holinka (TOR 2024 5th) is on a 10 game point streak, in that span he has 21 points.

It’s been a heck of a month for Miroslav Holinka, he’s been the clear best player (to my biased eyes) on the Oil Kings lately, with a span of games that included his first WHL hat trick. As of now he sits at 3rd in the WHL in goals, 5th in points, 10th in assists. If you’re looking to get into prospect watching, Holinka’s a great one to follow. He’s noticable every night, he’s putting up great performances as one of the main contributors to a top team, and, helpfully, all his games are free on Victory+. If you’ve got some time and you’d like to get more familiar with a guy who at least has an outside shot at cracking the Leafs lineup one day, I’d recommend tuning into an Oil Kings game.
Should we trade him with a 1st rounder for a 32 year old bottom pairing defenseman?
Hard to get excited about 20-year-olds putting up numbers though. If they don’t then you’ve got a big problem.

Any reason Why he wasn’t on the world jrs?
How’s his skating? In pre-season he looked promising, good hands, big, protects the puck well. The only knock was he was not as quick as other guys any noticeable improvement?
