It was a foul. The replay clearly showed Doncic making contact with his leg. Porter Jr. is a lefty and he did a side step to the right so of course the momentum would carry his legs to the right instead of left.
He knew what he was doing. They knew Luka had 5 and wanted to foul him out.

I have no problem with KevinPorter, he did what any player would try to do, it’s a smart play to try to take opposing best player out.
But what I have problem with is the referees, for yearsssssss that they took the fun out of so many matches, some great matches were ruined because of these referees and I mean they are human and they can make mistakes, it’s normal but why the fuck don’t they use something like VAR in football(soccer)? Especially on important call that could determine the outcome like this ? Or they leave a hole in there just so there’re rooms to manipulate the outcome of a match they want ?
I don’t blame him for trying, I blame the ref for falling for it given the context that the game was close and we were potentially going to OT. To give a player 3 free throws while simultaneously taking out the star player for one team is stupid
