At the end of the day hockey isn’t that much of a big deal. These are just some people who don’t know I exist playing a children’s game.

The Devils got to play rougher in there own end and clear the puckin puck. I mean Jesus christ! Allen wasn't that bad tonight but he still needs to stop getting out of position. Sheldon's gonna get canned if he can't turn it around like next game. Th3res nothing to like about this game. They lost, that's all that matters.

Timo Meier without naming names has let out what is going on. Not all players are on the same page and giving the same effort. As for Sheldon Keefe's interview he once again says things I want to hear but when not every player on the team is held accountable in the same way I find it hard to really care about what he says and I imagine players only feel the same way. Facts are numerous players have not been shown the press box when they should have been in there. Also numerous times over the few years he has been here goaltending decisions were done poorly too. Until everyone is accountable in this organization not much will change. If the talent level is high we will win and if not we won't. There are no extra efforts from anyone to gut out wins. With that said I don't see how this team can ever be considered a Stanley Cup contending team. The only thing that keeps them in it is the rest of the NHL is so bad too. Hockey just isn't what it used to be. Bettman is responsible for some of this. I haven't mentioned him in ages but I think his name needs to start coming up more again. Him wanting skilled hockey to be all that is seen has ruined hockey.
Mr. Nemec you have shown some progress this season and I hope it continues. Guess you made a bad mistake tonight but first game back there is no reason to crap all over you. If it continues then that is a different story. Hopefully the coach would hold you accountable then. However with this organization I doubt it. Hell in this league coaches hands are tied and it needs to stop. Owners, general managers, and coaches need to stop handing this league over to the players. Nobody pays as well as the NHL so nobody will go anywhere if you say things are going to be different.
No mention of Jake Allen's play tonight? First goal let in because of the anti-hybrid goaltending sentiment that has plagued the NHL. No reason to be butterfly there. Do better. Then when playing the puck he thought too long / took too long and turned it over in what became a two on one on the wall. If he moved it quicker it very well could have been fine. I really do not like picking on Jake Allen here as he has been a bright spot for the entire season but right now everything is under a magnifying glass with this team and also players should be able to be called out for bad games without feelings being hurt to the point where the team quits. Can't believe Sheldon Keefe didn't comment on the poor goaltending tonight but I guess if the question is not asked then he can't do much.

Keefe isn’t the issue! He’s never missed a playoffs! He’s a great coach. It’s the spoiled kids on this team that don’t care about anything more than self image and brand.
