16. Let's be honest, this is a catch-22 situation. There is no play the Mavs could have made or will make that will result in a return of adequate value for AD. The idea of "hold out for the vision", is ludicrous in and of itself. That was simply a tactic to show that they had some leverage, negotiation 101. 29. People, trade rumors is not equal to trade done. Every year most of the big rumors don't happen and we get surprise trades we weren't expecting. People will say he didn't get traded cause of the injury, but the reality will be that it's because it was never going to happen and if there was or is a deal on the table, the other team will just try to lowball you and still take him. We all know injuries don't stop trades. Luka / AD trade anyone? Both players were injured!

46. A couple days ago, you really thought Anthony Davis should fetch a good haul. Today you would trade him for a bag of peanuts. I suspect most teams, including Atlanta, valued him much less than your previous expectations. This likely injury sucks for the Mavs.
