  2. Well, technically, the Pirates still haven't spent any money. Rigjt now, payroll is exactly where it was last year. I doubt Nutting was serious about spending. Just lip service. They knew Okamoto was never coming here & Schwarber was never a real option either. If they want to upgrade, Cherrington is gonna have to make it happen through trades. Quit hugging your prospects. The time is now. Most of these guys never pan out anyway. Go, Bucs!

  3. Bohm is much better than Triolo. He hit for 8 weeks last year. Also you have given up zero prospects so far. You need to take chances and not be such a whimp about taking chances

  4. Hey guy's! Watching late tonight. As I watching, its interesting without you saying it, you are building a high leverage bench. We haven't had that in years. Mostly because, our bench players were forced to be in starting lineup, or not even deserving a bench spot. We need rightly mashers on bench. Look back at 2016-2018 with these names – David Freese, Sean Rodriguez, John Jaso, jose Osuna, "smart hitting" Chris Stewart, "reverse split" Adam Frazier, "lost catcher prospect" Elias Diaz, "cheetah" Jacob Stallings, "young 1st rd pick" Kevin Newman, even lower tier prospects that maybe Clint needed to play more in Jordan Luplow and Alan Hanson, and of course fan favorite speedy Gift Ngoepe.

    So my point, having a bench consisted of Gonzalez (after Griffin is promoted)Triolo, Yorke, Bart, and closest OF/DH we know who mashes lefties is McCutchen, if he agrees to this role. Cutch, be your best bud Sean Rodriguez off the bench in 9th with a walkoff!

    Endy, Garcia, Flores, Valdez, Johnson, just marinating AAA getting better and ready for that needed call up.
