Latest Kyle Tucker News: Blue Jays Willing To Do What Others Won’t…

The Toronto Blue Jays are willing to go longer than anyone else is for Kyle Tucker. This is great news for them, because in years prior, the Mets and Dodgers have always gotten the better of them on longterm deals. In this one we breakdown the latest surrounding kyle tucker and how it pertains to the Jays.

  1. This is getting ridiculous. Tucker is overrated, his exit velo and bat speed are average and is slash line does not read super star in any way. If we sign him then our organically incubated players (Loperfido, Straw, Lukes, etc) will likely not have a chance to hit their ceiling. Barger is emerging as a big bat and remember we made the world series without Tucker and Bo. Our biggest need was our pitching which we seemed to bolster nicely. Lets not let another player use us as leverage. If he really wants to sign then sign, lets not participate in this game of offseason leverage, we are already good.

  2. Honestly, Bo might be the more savvy long term play and let me explain…

Tucker is the better player certainly but Bo is being under sold big time. Bo's bat to ball is elite and I think it's sustainable and could improve even further. Defensively and Athletically Bo's metrics are being undersold because of his injuries. He has played through a lot. If he can get healthy, these could improve. Especially on 2nd.

Next off-season, there are a lot of outfielders available. None of Tucker level, but outfield is not a need today and when we see contracts expire there is probable replacements available and probably more affordable.

Alls I'm saying, I think Tucker would be awesome but I think Bo could be the better option from a business stand point. Lets also be honest. How many more wins does Tucker get you over Bo? I think it's pretty damn close

  3. I believe that Tucker will take the long-term deal and avoid doing a Santander. His value is diminished, and because he had a short-term deal, he is stuck. He has to produce this year but if he is injury prone now, he is stuck. Also there is the point of do you want to be just another piece in a machine of a multi-year world series winner or do you want to be on the team that dethrones them.. that came 2 outs away from doing it last year

  4. Jays good at getting on base. Who's their best RBI guy getting them in? Bo Bichette, great contact. Average Bo out to account for missed injury games, and Bo would be in the top 10 RBI men (109) in the MLB for 2025 (better than Ohtani). …Kyle Tucker averages out to 87 RBIs for 2025, though he's had years of 107 & 112 (2022, 2023). He's had significant injury time last 2 years. …He can't touch Bo Bichette for batting average and consistently being counted on to "keep the line moving".

  5. Well done Nick👍
Bro, let’s put a bet on the Packers Bears game. If packers win, you get all 3 of my hypes for next 4 weeks.. if Bears win, you gift anyone but me ,a well deserved membership (or 2💁‍♂️) to ppl who earned it. Its a win win for you bro.. StY Rising boys!💫

  6. If you are correct, Tucker does not want to come up north. He’s waiting for his team to give the length of contract that he wants. Jays fans let’s push for Bo

  7. $300M for 10 years ($30M AAV) for Tucker which is double the years and amount for the contacts of Schwarber and Alonso.
Jays won’t bet against themselves and should not go higher than that especially when their position players are set.

    Springer DH
    Okamoto 3B
    Guerrero 1B
    Tucker LF
    Kirk C
    Barger RF
    Clement 2B
    Varsho CF
    Gimenez SS

  8. Tucker is already a blue jay in my head which is a sure fire way to get disappointed. Bo wanting 300 is to much when we got Clement who is slightly less of a hitter than Bo but is generally the same kind of hitter. A big left handed hitter to slot in as a number 2 hitter be huge for this squad. Either way another superstar be huge. Tucker option 1 Bo option 2.

  9. I’d like to see Barger get rips at short. He played there a lot coming up in the minors. Either way he needs to be an everyday player.
