Perfect. We can activate kova AND keep palat. I can sleep better at night.
Man. Wonder if this is the end of Noesen or if he’ll bounce back?
Noesen has been so disappointing compared to last season. First the groin injury he put off having surgery for and now this I guess points to why he’s been much worse. Unless this isn’t something that was lingering and happened recently. I guess the cap problem is put off for now though.
Edit: just saw via Amanda it’s been a lingering injury. Makes sense. Makes you wonder how many other lingering injuries there might be.
Good, call up Hammy
Would certainly go a long way towards explaining why he’s been bad this year
Fitz managed the cap so badly he made Noesen get surgery so he could stash him on LTIR to clear room for Kovacevic
Noesen is suppose to get a grit guy, an agitator on the ice. He was last season but this season he’s been avoiding contact and invisible.
Now we know why.
Honestly good he’s going on IR. Shut him down, get that $2.75 million cap space for a move.
Fuck this season
Honestly not the timeline I was hoping for. I was hoping that we would’ve had to make a trade (barring it resulting in a complete fleece for the other team), because that’s what this team needs right now.
Subbing in Kovacevic for White isn’t going to help us score, though it might help us win more low scoring games (even though White hasn’t been that bad).
Wild Fitz gets out of the cap jam because of an injury. Palat still needs to be benched
At least we know why Noesen has sucked all year now. Hopefully, the surgery goes well and he’s 100% healthy by the start of training camp.
Fitz: “How’s the knee, Stef?”
Noesen: “it’s not bad just a little—-“
Fitz: “looks like an amputation is in order! Doctors, remove him post-haste!”
Hope this means sticking Meier in front of the net on the PP
If this was lingering I just want to know who in management thought it was a good idea to let Noesen keep playing? He’s been terrible all season and I guess now it makes sense. I knew he would never duplicate last year but he couldn’t even take a shift as a 4th liner this year and now we know why. Just so disappointed that instead of shutting him down sooner management thought it was a good idea to just play thru it? If he was playing good sure but he’s been terrible. The front office of this organization is an absolute mess right now. Fitz is a joke.
Yeah who didnt see this coming?
Does this solve cap issues with kovacevic
I have a hunch that management made him do this to make cap space.

Won’t even notice he’s gone
