Why Todd Bowles Can’t Fix the Bucs Until THIS Changes

In this video, Rhett (@rhettakus) joins Rock Riley on WDAE (@95.3WDAE) to break down the real issue behind Todd Bowles’ struggles as head coach and why the problems go deeper than game day decisions. 1. Carolina Atlanta and the Saints are all getting better. We’re just going backwards. You’re just delaying the inevitable.. I own a company. I always cut my losses. Don’t be afraid to make a mistake. No risk no reward.

  2. In my opinion Jason Licht is as responsible for the problems as Bowles. Bowles is bad. But Bowles can also only coach the talent put in front of him. When you can't tackle anyone, pressure anyone, cover anyone, or protect your QB. When you only have around 30 sacks all season, and your secondary is bottom 3. When you make every QB you play against this year, especially the rookies, look like Joe Montana because you can't get any pressure on them and they pick your junk secondary apart. . When you need pass rushers, O -line, and secondary, and your don't get them, you get receivers instead, even though the receiving corp didn't cost us the last 3 seasons. Not having a defense, in particular a pass rush did. I believe in the Bills game Sterling Shepherd caught more passes than the rest of our receivers combined and we sacked Josh Allen once. The next game the Texans sacked Josh Allen 8 times. Pretty good evidence that if we had drafted pass rushers we would have won more games. I like Emeka and Tez but we needed a defense. That means Bowles and Licht are equally responsible for the main problems and ownership chose to fire everybody but the 2 guys who hurt the team the most and are now scouring the bottom of the barrel for replacement coaches. Callahan and Robinson🤬 Baker Mayfield deserves so much better. And keep Monken as far away from the BUCS as possible or anyone else from the Cleveland organization that was with the team when they stuck a knife in Baker's back to make the worst trade deal in NFL history. Just HELL NO! I am team Scheelhouse

  3. Come on man we have seen the ceiling… its not a winning recipe. it is a recipe for mediocracy. Shit you talk about business. if you want to make money you got to win. you have to put out cash if you want to success. The glazers just gave up on the Bucs. Should have cleaned house and hired Harbaugh. I guess they like the "love" in the locker room, that nice but its not filling seats in the stadium or trophies on the walls… Turtle Todd mister conservative. Its plain the glazers fucked up letting Coen walk. We need to gamble and find another young offense coach like Coen and groom him for HC in a year or two. Licht needs to be on the hot seat. He needs knock it out of the park. Before the Draft he needs to get us some solid proven dawg power either at edge or ilb. imo.

  4. Tampa the best team in that division come on y'all a down year and if it wasn't for bakers throwing that dumb ass pick against the panthers they would have swept them 😂 y'all funny ass hell on here

  5. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a relatively easy strength of schedule in 2025, ranking among the teams with the easiest schedules based on their opponents' combined winning percentage from the previous season. Their opponents had a winning percentage of .481, which contributed to a less challenging slate of games. That, bad moral, and missing on several recent draft picks and free agency other than E E.
