  1. Literally what we need, either this or soubke down on elite defense and get herb, but he is not on the market apparently. Also doing that would put too much stress on an older steph especially in the playoffs

  2. Expeditiously.

Ideally, you’d like to do something like one full pick and a either a swap or protected pick behind that. But if it’s a sticking point, give em the 2 picks and let’s try to make a run.

  3. Salary cap match in players and one pick.

If you’re advocating for us to give more, you’re on the wrong side.

  4. Season is genuinely over if we cant get him roster is just not good enough this is the last available guy that could help and possibly average 20+

  5. It’s like getting klay back in his prime. But I think the cost may be too high. They want the picks and probably young talent.

  6. Lmao all of those shots are contested but he doesn’t even see the defenders cause he’s 6’10. He would immediately improve our spacing, lack of scoring, rebounding and defensive versatility. Send the fucking picks Mike.

  7. Nets reportedly don’t want Kuminga so you really have to involve a third team that both wants Kuminga and has a player the Nets want (or make it even more complicated with a fourth team).

  8. Imagine Jimmy being able to drive and kick to near guaranteed buckets or Steph’s gravity leaving him open. Warriors could make a good run

  9. If we can do it for Kuminga + Buddy and another salary plus one first (unprotected or not) I’m down for it.

If it’s two FRP’s then I’ll want them to be top 4 protected.

  10. Let’s be real though it’s not going to make a difference. Are we really one player away from becoming a top four roster in the league?

  11. He’s basically shooting the same 3PT% as Steph this year on 9 3PA per game (vs. 12 for Steph). Also his 7.4 REB per game wouldn’t hurt.

All depends what he costs and if someone else can outbid us no matter what we’re willing to spend.

  12. MPJ is an absolute black hole on offense. When he gets the ball, he’s taking the shot. If movement and ball movement is key to your success, he’s not the guy.

  13. Michael “Never Pass The Rock” Porter Jr, you are a golden state warrior!

Honestly, last time we had an anti vaxxer it went very well for us i’m down for this

  14. For one, he disappeared in OT and the nets lost.

He literally took 18 3pt fg. That is the definition of chucking. He will not get that kind of volume here unless it’s coming out of someone else’s pockets like moody, melton, Steph, podz.

You also have to take the lows with the highs. Post his highlights from the clippers game where they got blown out. He was literally 0-9 from 3.

I don’t think ppl understand how catastrophic adding an 0-9 3pt shooting might to our current roster could be, especially when they don’t add anything else. I am not prepared to have our season live or die by MPJ’s shot. Watching MPJ shoot 20 contested threes a night just to get 30 points is not a brand of basketball I want to watch I’m sorry. Hard pass.

This is all not even taking into account how much worse our roster will be after this year with MPJ’s contract and no draft picks.

  15. I made a few comments on this sub saying how our FO is more than likely not going to trade for any all star caliber to star players with the last big move being Jimmy.

I’d be shocked if they do trade for MPJ who’s producing all star stats rn lol. It seems like we’re trending towards that direction of trading for him so maybe the FO will prove my past comments wrong

  16. Why wasn’t he working in Denver then? Dude got traded with a draft pick for Cam???

  17. 6’10” klay! we just need celebrini to do his magic and.pray to native american spirits for.MPJ health

  18. MPJ is Klay Thompson minus the defense. He can shoot the lights out, and never looses confidence.

  19. Is it known for sure that Warriors have been reaching out about MPJ. I’d love to see him next to Curry

  20. The question is how will Kerr play him? He will probably play some center position and of course a lot of screening for Steph.
