[Nightengale] The Boston Red Sox will now turn their sights to Bo Bichette.

  1. This was my immediate thought too. Bo needed this and we will see if the Jays match whatever crazy offer he’s about to get.

  2. Not ideal but if he’s going to let blue jays match any offer and we are willing to do so that just means we’re 1 step closer to signing Bo

  3. Jays front office better hurry up and sign Tucker or Bichette. The market is about to heat up now that Bregman is gone.

  4. They didn’t want to pay Bregman (or any MLB FA to date) but they’re looking at Bo? Sure Bob.

  5. Where have you gone, Boba Chette? Red Sox nation turns its lonely eyes to you… Wooo woo woo

  6. If they weren’t willing to pay Bergman 5/175 I don’t tink they’re going to outbid anyone for Bo

  7. Damn 🙁 anyone but the east. Looks more than likely now. Since they already talked to him apparently.

  8. This feels like a buddy at work talking about hooking up with this hottie from the bar only to find out it’s your wife. Stay away from Bo lol

  9. If Bo ends up with the Sox he’s gonna punish us every time he comes up to bat and everyone is gonna say “We should have never let him walk”

  10. Jays are objectively a better team with Tucker. Sentimental value aside, Bo should try to get the Brink’s truck while he can if Boston is willing to meet his demands.

  11. Don’t worry, theres no chance they sign him. Sox ownership is deeply unserious about free agents

  12. It is what it is. Tucker will age better and is the focus. I wish Bo luck as the Red Sox 2028-2035 DH.

  13. Everyday hes going to a new team. Until he signs somewhere I don’t even care what he eats for breakfast its all irrelevant.

  14. I thought Bo was going to Philly? He was visiting and everything, it was a lock. And on that note, did any of the talking heads say Bregman was going to the Cubs? Players will go where they get paid.

  15. The AAV on this Bregman deal is $35M, so that’s probably the relative benchmark. I reckon the Jays are done with signings by this point. Payroll is already over $300M without either Bo or Tucker.

  16. I mean, Boston has the money to pay Bo. But if they were willing to let Bregman go for 175M, I cant see them paying Bo 250M to play for them
