SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diegans are showing out for the Padres, even months before the official start of the MLB season.

The Padres announced Wednesday that the club has already sold out of season ticket memberships for the 2026 season, marking the fourth consecutive year that memberships have completely sold out.

Fans, however, can still purchase tickets to see the Friars, as single-game tickets remain available for the 2026 season and go on sale on Tuesday, Feb. 3, while group and single-game suite tickets will also be available.

Those interested in being a Padres season ticket holder in the future can join the On-Deck Waitlist, and fans who join by Jan. 23 will receive priority access to single-game ticket presales.

The Padres are coming off a solid 2025 season, during which they finished with a 90-72 record before being eliminated by the Chicago Cubs in the NL Wild Card series.

The 2026 MLB season officially starts with Opening Night on March 26, with the San Francisco Giants taking on the host New York Yankees.

  1. Damn. I know people aren’t too optimistic about this season but it’s cool seeing such support from the fan base

  2. The stadium has evolved so much since it opened. It went from looking like a hospital inside to a home. I love Petco Park.

  3. Repeatedly making the playoffs will do that. Who could have known the formula to selling out was winning. I think they are on to something here…..keep doing it

  4. Dodgers and Padres give away 40k bobbleheads on bobblehead nights

Dodgers and Padres rank #1 and #2 in MLB attendance

    the strategy is simple

  5. Great stadium. Great fan experience. Great weather. Great food (though I usually bring mine in). Many giveaways. And a winning team that fights til the last out. Always a good time.

  6. Not getting too excited. Don’t give a crap with the roster looks like opening day. Will reevaluate at the trade deadline.
