  2. The worst part of this all, to me, is that the flyers, ducks, sharks etc have all somehow surpassed us in their rebuilds/retools. I know no one could have ever imagined what would happen to Johnny, but that really doesn’t have much to do with 25 years of mediocrity. Like, what has to be done here??

  4. So Minor shuts ya out-lol. But don't feel bad-I work at the AVS,& Nuggets arena & in all my DK fantasy lineups I started Wedgewood. Then at last second-they announced Minor was playing & I got busy working & getting ready for the game. So I forgot to switch goalies-therby screwing most my lineups up.-lol. And just a few things-Nelson struggled to start the season but has something like 34 points in like 33 games or something like that. And has all of his 21 goals after the 1st 9 or 10 games.

    But all kidding aside-Columbus played good,& Elvis played pretty good-& deserved a closer result. Mckinnon,Makar,Necas,Nelson,Lehkonen,& Nichuskin didn't even score. But I think you saw-we aren't the top heavy team we used to be. And that's without Landyskog,Toewes,LOC,& Kryvanta-as well as Blackwood. But this season-Avs are 1st in goals scored,,& 1st in goals allowed. And nobody is even close in either category. But I thought Columbus actually played a good game. Granted the AVS top 6,& top pair-kinda sleptwalked a bit-by their lofty standards at least.

    But honestly Columbus played us about as tough processwise as almost any team has at Ball this year. Even Carolina,& especially Dallas-who beat us in shootouts at Ball-Avs totally dominated & deserved regulation wins. Ottenger flat out stole 2 pts for Dallas. And A few teams have given us a go at home- Utah,& NYI come to mind but Columbus certainly didn't remotely embarrass themselves at all. As great as the AVS are over all-they are a whole different level of dominant at home. We have the best road record but are flat out historical at home,& far less of the games are competitive than on the road.

    But you do a great job,& are very knowledgeable. I enjoy the analysis-keep up the good work. I would be proud of my team if I were a Columbus fan though-cuz I thought your team played very hard,& pretty damn good. Especially to keep all our top guys,& even 2ndary guys off the score sheet. We were actually talking at work how impressive Columbus played compared to most the teams we've stomped at Ball this yr.4-0 is a beat down but processwise it was actually very competitive,& closer than the score would indicate.
