2. Unless they overpay, I'd be surprised if Breece doesn't test the market. I'm sure there's playoff level teams that will pay him market rate.

3. I think this is the reason why I really hope Dante Moore declares and the Jets trade back. We can gather picks and have the flexibility of taking a Jeremiah Love and a Simpson or Chambliss later on.

4. They need to keep Breece as a good security blanket for a rookie Qb. And hopefully use him more in the screen game. I would not franchise him, but 3/30$ sounds right for him.

If it was my decision trade for Montgomery trade Allen somewhere and something on defense in return for Allen. It won't happen but like that but Montgomery is a good option if Breece walks

12. Keeping Breece Hall is essentials for this offense and this coach to have success. We need to re-sign AVT draft developmental players at OG, OT, and OC this year and next year. The bottom line is any quarterback, veteran or rookie you bring in here this year or next will need an RB, that can stress the defense. The threat of a RB that can break it for a TD at any time he has to make the LBs and EDGES sweat. It gives defensive coordinators, one more thing to have to worry about.

13. I know it's only a sample size of 1, but I had a chance encounter with a Jets player this week who's a pending free agent. I asked him if he's coming back and his reply was, "Nah, I'm out". LOL! I bet he's not the only player wiith that sentiment.

16. I would say keep him but it's one of those situations where I'm not losing my mind about losing him and having to draft a replacement. I love what he brings, but I don't think he's irreplaceable.

20. I love Breece, my favorite Jet. But if he leaves he deserves to raise the Lombardi. I agree, there are some good backs in the draft but not Breece like. But J Love is a beast! The Jets can easily wiggle their way to him in the draft. In the mocks he usually is gone by the 7th pick.

22. No point paying a RB with the state we are in imo. Just go with Allen and Davis next year.

23. I’m all for rebuilding. But giving up one of our best players like Breece would be counter productive. Him & Garrett should be kept at all costs. Build our offense around them. Draft a young QB. Acquire another veteran QB to mentor him. Get another wide receiver to compliment Garret. And when Braelon Allen returns next season, our offense could be unstoppable. Then get a new Defensive Coordinator, and beef up our defense. Do all that, and we’ll shut up the naysayers, and make the playoffs next season.

25. DUDE 😎 If I were Hall I'd want OFF this.team ASAP. Keep the extension. We've been "rebuilding" for 15 years now with no end in sight. I'm soooo jealous of the BEARS. They've shown that with a good HC and a QB with a clue it doesn't take years to get competitive

30. It is to the point where you question any free agent that comes to Jets. Why would any free agent come here? It’s not coaching, winning games, atmosphere, ownership, legacy. It is strictly money. No other reason to come to Jets.

35. I think Breece is a far better player than he was before, we just dont use him properly. He played 16 games and he barley cracked one thousand yards. He's a hell of a receiver and we barley threw him the ball. If we're not going to use him properly, we might as well let him go to another team.

40. The Jets should not draft a RB in round one or even 2 when they have Braelon Allen, plus they could tag Breece. There are way too many need needs at Safety, Corner, DT, LB, even WR, that to spend such a valuable pick on a RB would be gross negligence. Especially with the RB position not being as important in the modern game.

41. Ive been saying for months, and people called me crazy. We will draft Love if Breece moves on. Lions got way better when they drafted Gibbs and Williams. Our second and third picks will be a top RB & WR. If 3 of 5 of our picks are guaranteed hits this team will finally make the playoffs. HOT TAKE
